The master-key setting matters
Create a key in Apollo under Settings → Integrations → API Keys and enable Set as master key. Apollo does not allow a regular key to create contacts, so BootLeads checks that permission before saving the connection.

A clean handoff, with no invented person data
BootLeads is an ecommerce store database. It sends the business contact details available for each store and does not manufacture a person's name, title, or role when that data is missing.
Segment label
Every created contact receives the label entered in BootLeads so the transferred group remains easy to find.
Duplicate protection
Apollo is asked to deduplicate contacts, while BootLeads skips stores already delivered through the same connection and label.
Sequence control
Contacts are created but not enrolled automatically. Review the labeled group, then add it to the sequence you choose in Apollo.

The contact table shows the available company, email, phone, and location data. A record may display No Name when the store publishes a business inbox without an identified person; BootLeads leaves that field empty rather than guessing.

Questions before you connect
This integration is for teams that want ecommerce account discovery in BootLeads and contact management or sequencing in Apollo.
Why does Apollo require a master API key?
Apollo restricts contact creation to master keys. Enable Set as master key when creating the key; BootLeads tests that permission before saving it.
Why do I enter a label instead of choosing a campaign?
The integration creates Apollo contacts; it does not enroll them directly in a sequence. The label keeps the imported segment together so you can review it and choose the sequence inside Apollo.
Why do some Apollo contacts have no person name?
BootLeads may find a business email without a named individual. It sends the available fields and leaves first and last name empty instead of assigning an unsupported identity.
What happens if a large Apollo transfer does not finish?
Apollo accepts contacts at its own API pace. If the transfer does not finish within BootLeads' 30-minute processing window, use Continue to send the remainder; contacts already delivered are skipped.
Which BootLeads plans include Apollo?
