Find ecommerce leads from Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor
Add BootLeads to your AI app as an MCP server. Ask for stores in plain language and it searches the BootLeads database for you: platform, location, category, technologies, Shopify apps, social reach and contact details.

What your AI can do with BootLeads
Read-only tools over the same store database as the dashboard. Filters work like the API's, and every filter is described in the filter reference.
List filter options
List every filter search_stores accepts: how to write it, what it matches, which platforms it applies to and, for filters that take values from a list, the values with approximate store counts.

Search stores
Search the BootLeads database of online stores by platform, location, category, products, technologies, Shopify apps, social reach, Meta ads and more.

Get store
Get the full BootLeads profile of one store: platform, location, categories, product stats, contact details, social profiles and followers per network, Meta ads, technologies, Shopify apps and theme.

Example prompts
Copy a prompt into your AI app, or hand it a longer research task.
“Find 20 Shopify beauty stores based in the US that use Klaviyo, newest first, with their emails and Instagram links.”
Store domains with contact details and social links, two pages of results.
“How many WooCommerce stores based in Germany did BootLeads find in the last 30 days?”
The count of matching stores, without paging through them.
“What does allbirds.com run on? List its technologies, Shopify apps and theme, and how to contact them.”
The full profile of one store.
“Find stores that moved to Shopify from WooCommerce and are running Meta ads right now.”
Recent platform switchers with their ad activity.
“List UK Shopify stores using Judge.me that have more than 10,000 social followers.”
Stores filtered by installed app, country and audience size.
“Which print-on-demand stores in Canada have more than 100 products? Group them by category.”
Stores by business model and catalog size, summarized by category.
Plans and limits
The AI connector is included with the Pro and Enterprise plans. It uses the same daily allowance as the dashboard and the browser extension, so connecting an AI app doesn't add data on top of your plan.
- Each search returns 10 stores and counts as one page of results toward the dashboard's daily browsing allowance.
- Pro: 500 full store profiles a day, shared with the browser extension.
- Enterprise: 1,000 full store profiles a day, shared with the browser extension.
- Allowances refill at 00:00 UTC. Exporting lists stays on bootleads.com, with your plan's export quota.
- One connection per AI platform: connecting Claude again replaces the earlier Claude connection.
Questions
What is an MCP server?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the standard way AI apps connect to outside tools and data. Once BootLeads is added, your AI app can search stores and read store profiles on its own while it answers you.
Can the AI app change anything in my account?
No. Every tool is read-only: it can't edit your lists, export, or change settings. You approve access on a BootLeads page, and you can disconnect any app under Settings → AI connector.
Does it include contact details?
Yes. Search results and store profiles include the emails, phone numbers and WhatsApp numbers found on each store's website, the same as the dashboard on your plan.
How is this different from the API?
The MCP server is for asking questions and building small lists inside an AI app, within your daily allowance. To sync large lists into your own systems, use the API on the Enterprise plan.
Which AI apps work?
Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex CLI, Cursor, VS Code and any other app that supports remote MCP servers over Streamable HTTP with OAuth sign-in.
